Tutorials

Tutorial main menu

Click on the appropriate section in the youtube video to see the short tutorials. The tutorial is divided into 3 parts:
part 1 how to setup a shop
part 2 how to keep your familymembers alive
part 3 how to produce and sell

In each part you will see an example of how to do these things.

Health

Your family members require meals and baths. The health of a character controlled by you, will remain at 100 points as long as you manage to give it a meal and a bath each season (every real day). In other words if you manage to keep the sanitation and nutrients points of that character at 100 points.

Meal

You can produce a meal at the Culina or kitchen in your home. You need several kinds of food to produce a meal. Which kinds of food you require, depends on the type of meal. There is an overview of the required foods at the bottom of the culina. Select the type of meal and click on the cook button.

With your meals prepared you can feed your family members at the triclinium. One meal is required per character to set the nutrients points to 100 of the character fed by you. The type of meal required depends on the class of the character. You can see an overview of the meals you have and family members class at the top of the triclinium page. See this paragraph for more information.

Select a family member and click on the eat button, to feed your family member.

In addition to meals, your family also requires pottery and furniture in the triclinium. You need 1 piece of pottery and 1 piece of furniture for each living family member you have. If you do not have enough pottery or furniture, then you will not be able to feed your family members. So in such a situation you may need to produce pottery or furniture, or buy it a workshop or at a market fair, permitted the barbarian traders are available.

Bath

You can have your family members take a bath at a thermae. At a thermae, select a character and click on the take bath button, this will set the sanitation value to 100 points. You need to pay a fee of a few uncia to the government, each time you let a family member take a bath. If you do not have the money to pay this small fee, then you are in big trouble.

Step 2 Clothe your family

Clothing

You can clothe your family members at the cubiculum. The type of clothing a character requires depends on the class, job and marital status. See this paragraph for more information.
